France West Coast - Calais to Avranches

On the left below you see the figurines carved in stone on the alter. There is an amazing amount of detail, time and effort that has gone into every part of this altar. We don't see this type of thing in Australia so we are pretty impressed. This is just a small village church! The other part of the photo shows one of the stained glass windows up closer.
